Online Community

Click here to login to our new Online Community. This new web-based forum is our latest effort to improve our accessibility for our members.

If you're an AMUG member then you already have full access to our forums. You simply need to ask the forum to let you change your password. To do this go to this page and enter the email address you gave us when you joined AMUG. Moments later you should receive an email message with a link back to the forums, where you can change your password.

If you don't receive an email then please contact our Membership Director to update your membership information. If you still can't get in then you'll need to speak with our Telecom Director for additional assistance.

Access to the Online Community is a terrific benefit of AMUG membership. It's a place for our members to share ideas, advice, technical info, and more. We have lots of discussion areas constantly being updated, including online classifieds, jobs boards, tech help areas, and lots of contributions from fellow "AMUGers."

If you are visiting us, you are welcome to browse through a our Online Community, a sampling of our discussion areas are to the left. If you want to have full access, including the ability to post messages of your own, then you must be a registered user.

Online Services

Belonging to our community as an AMUG member also gives you your own AMUG Internet email address ([email protected]), access to newsgroups, FTP File storage, a personal calendar, space for your very own website and more.

We are trying out new community software by eGroupware. Members are strongly encouraged to log in and try it out, and let us know what you think!

Consultants Network

Another facet of our Community is our referral network. Are you looking to hire someone to troubleshoot your Mac? Do you need website design or other computer-related services? Go to our Consultants section and find AMUG members who have listed themselves as consultants. Many of our consultants offer discounts to other AMUG members, another benefit of membership!

Are you an AMUG member and would like to be listed in our Consultants section? It's free! Send an email to our Telecom Director (telecom@amugonline.org) or Robert Cameron ([email protected]).
