The FileMaker (FM) SIG provides a forum for FM users at the beginner and intermediate levels. More advanced topics may be covered from time to time, depending on interest. All FM users, on Macintosh and Windows platforms, are welcome to attend. No attendance fee is required. The SIG meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
The next meeting is scheduled for October 24, 2006 and will focus on Extending FileMaker. Join us as we explore how to add functionality to FileMaker via external components such as plug-ins and AppleScript/Automator. Examples will include integrating a full-blown email engine into databases, auto-triggering scripts, creating dynamic graphs/charts, data sharing with iCal and AddressBook (Mac OS X), and more!!
