Is their a version of MS Office for the Mac suitable for the new Intel processor Macs?

Not yet, but MS Office applications seem to run just fine without being Universal Binaries and at decent speeds too. Apple's Rosetta translator does a good job.

I have heard MS website says there will not be a new version for the Intel machines.  I have noticed no slowdown from my other machine to my Intel Macbook.
