Well, I tried yesterday to install Boot Camp.

1) Boot Camp: the install instructions are not complete. It sure is a beta. While opening and installing it does not tell you it has installed itself into \applications\utilities.

2) Windows XP Pro: it installed (took 4 hours) nothing right; and my iMac Intel 20" would not give me the opportunity to chose either Mac OSX or Windoze....and assorted other problems.

3) So I booted from Install Disk 1 to get back into Mac OS to get to Boot Camp and uninstall the partition. And it did that in a good hurry! Hurray!

and so now I have back Mac OS X only.

Will wait another time when I gain some patience to try again and maybe get some help...

(PS bought my Win XP Pro from TigerDirect for $139.00)

1) Yeah, had me a bit puzzeled the first time too.
2) Welcome to Windows. My biggest problem at this point was installing the Apple drivers. It took several installs to get everything up and going. Again, welcome to Windows.
3) When you start up your machine if you hold down the Option key you'll get the opportunity to choose the partition you wish to boot from. The nice thing about Boot Camp is that it can remove the new partition as easily as it created it. So if you don't like running Windows you can easily remove it and regain your drive space.
