Sync software
«

I just got a new TREO 650 and love it.
I have been a Palm user for a long time.
I currently sync via the palms' hotsync manager.
The only problem that I currently have is that my MAC Address Book does not Sync to my "contacts" on the Palm.
Does anyone know anyway around this?
I can consider iSync or DataViz's Missing Sync but I'm not sure how this effects everything else during the Sync process.

I haven't used a Palm in quite a while, but I've helped a few people get iSync setup with their Palms.
It's really quite easy. You can sync your Address Book contacts and iCal events through the Palm conduit in iSync with no problems. I'd overwrite the device the first time though.
You can also bring your contacts from Palm Desktop into AddressBook easily enough. I beleive you can drag them right out of Palm Desktop to the desktop or even directly into AddressBook - at worse you should be able to export them as vcard files and then drag them into Address Book. And Address Book is smart enough to see duplicates and ask you whan to do (keep new, keep old, merge).

I think it was Isync I used with my palm, before it died. If so, then yeah, I didn't have any trouble. Except, one minor thing to note - for events in Ical, make sure that they have an ending date. I had lots of neverending reminders setup to email me once per month about bills being due. They wouldn't sync until I assigned end dates to them - which I just set to 15 years out.
