Hello!

So, who all is playing with the new Ilife? I just picked up a copy Friday, and I have to say - its a nice improvement.

Iweb is very, very interesting. I loathe HTML and web design, but I'm kinda enjoying messing around with this software. I've redone my (cob)webpage for the first time in five years (its at www.frogbelly.org). Its still very much a work in progress, but its amazing how easy it is. There are some pretty heavy flaws, but that is about par for the course for 1.0 of anything. One of the biggest examples is how it uses png for many things instead of jpg. That uses a lot of bandwidth.

Anyone else playing around with this stuff? Got a Iwebsite your testing?

I've had the new iLife for about 2 weeks now, and I've mostly used iPhoto and iWeb in that time. I think the improvements to iPhoto and the addition of iWeb make the upgrade worthwhile. I'm sure there are nice improvements to iMovie, iDVD, and the rest also, but I haven't had a chance to try them out yet.

I've mainly used iWeb so far to set up some photo galleries, but I really like it a lot so far.

Yeah, I haven't played with anything other than Iphoto and Iweb myself. Mind you, I hadn't played with them much before either, so I don't have a lot to compare to. I had played some with Iphoto (I didn't really like it). I'm still so-so on Iphoto, cause it just bugs me. I'm growing more used to it though, so who knows? It is a pretty darn good organizer, but so far its editing capabilities underwhelm me.
