Anyone going to see this movie? Anyone already seen a sneak preview?
I'm planning on going to see it Sunday.

I saw an extended trailer for it when I went to see the Narnia movie. Looks pretty good. I really liked the first one. I was glad to see that Victor will be in this movie again -- from the trailer it looks like he appears in a lot of flashback scenes. I will probably try to see it this weekend, too.

I know there was a screening last night, I was invited to it but went to another screening I had a ticket for instead.

That's okay. I bought the 1st movie today at SAM's just to get a refresher before going on Sunday.
I LOVE vampire movies and I'm easy to please.
Will give my two cents by Tuesday.

Anybody see this movie yet? I was too busy to see it on Sunday, so now am planning on Friday evening or sometime on this Sunday afternoon.

I saw it Saturday. I liked it enough. I usually rate movies based on how I'd have preferred to view it...

Free (Cable/TV)
Rent (DVD/PayPerView)
Matinee (Cheap, but in theater)
Evening (not cheap, but in theater)
Twice (I'd pay to see it again)

I'd say this was as good as the last movie, with a bit more background on Selene and the whole mythos. The final 'big scene' was pretty good. It'll be interesting to see where they decide to go if they do a sequel.

And WHY do people bring little (under 10) kids to an R film that you KNOW is going to have at least some graphic fight sceens and blood. Why!!!

Cool!  I will definitely plan on seeing it this weekend, then. I really liked the first movie a lot.

Oh, it's got a better than 7/10 rating at IMDB too.

I saw it as a matinee on Sunday and I really enjoyed it.
Ditto on Chris' comments for the history and whatnot.
As for where III will head, I have some theories...

Finally got around to seeing Underworld Evolutions today. I liked it -- it's a lot like the first movie, and picks up exactly where the first one left off. There are a lot of flashbacks that provide back-story and histories, but it's well done and doesn't interrupt the flow of the movie. There seemed to me to be a little more gratuitous violence and gore than in the original, but the plot, casting, acting, production values, etc. were all up to par. A worthy sequel to the first movie.
