I have an Epson ink jet printer and am considering replacing out of ink Epson cartridges with "compatible" Innovera ink jet cartridges.  Has anyone done this and with what kind of success or trouble?  The Innovera cartridges are significantly cheaper.

Thanks,
Susan

I have an Epson (R260) that I use for printing on CDs and DVDs.
I have been using generic cartridges from

www.clickinks.com

with good results.
Two for the price of one and free shipping.

Well I am going to have to retract my last post.
I started having problems with new cartridges not being recognized and the on-going problems of running out of ink in the middle of a job.
My last Epson printer (R220) would at least finish printing the page before shutting down because of low ink.
The present printer (Epson 260) shuts down in the middle of a page!
So I have gone to a Continuous Ink Supply system and it seems to be working great. A little bit of a hassle setting it up and priming the cartridges, but once that was done it never has to be done again as long as the reservoirs are not allowed to go dry.
I bought the system from printonadime.com on eBay.
They provide quick delivery, their setup instructions are easy to follow and the after purchase support is excellent.

Thanks for the feedback.  I bought Innovera brand from Costco online.  For the moment they are being recognized by Printer Utility.  I have only used one replacement color for the moment to see how it works.  All the others are Epson.  Innovera is only $4.30/cartridge and Costco has free shipping.  Hopefully they will continue working.

Keep us posted.  This is of interest to all of us going broke on
Epson ink cartridges!!!.  I've tried MicroCenter's home brand
with no known problems.  "They" say you need the real thing,
so I'm interested in others experiences.  One refill of the 4 cartridges
is running over $60.00 at this point
