Was it my imagination, or were the forums down for an extended period of time?

Well, it wasn't an extended period of time. It was less than 24 hours to be exact.

Somone bumped our server in the hosting facility and popped out some of the drives. I'm going by there today to lock the machine so that can't happen again.

After we restarted the box we discovered that my previous testing of compiling Apache 2 had affected the box more than I'd thought it had, so the web server wouldn't start. Lawrence identified the problem and I was able to fix it pretty quick.

Sorry about that.

I figured it was something like that. Didn't bother sending an email 'cause I figured you guys already knew about it.  Keep up the good work -- I'm really enjoying the new online community!
