Title: DVD to iPod
Post by: LCronkite on July 02, 2006, 04:04:38 PM
I was reading on the internet about baseball players using iPods to review past performances of hitters and pitchers and I got to thinking that this may be something that my wife and I could use in teaching our dancing classes.

DVDs are available that show the correct dance figures and footwork.

What software is available to convert DVD information for use on the iPod or is iLife sufficient?
Anyone had experience doing this type of conversion?
Also what iPod would be best for this?

I have used an open source DVD ripper called HandBrake which supports the iPod [video] format. Do a Google search on "HandBrake" and you should find plenty of sites with instructions and download links. Good luck!
