Title: Good Vietnamese Resturaunts in ATL Post by: Michael Martin on January 19, 2006, 04:46:16 PM Wanted to pass along at least 4 reccomendations -- in this order:
PHO 79 (Buford Hwy, Clairmont Road -- In the FIESTA shopping center) -- Best BUN (ask for V5) that I've had anywhere and I've traveled to NYC, DC, SFO, SJC, LAX, AUS, DAL to get a sampling of resturants. Good Pho What the Pho -- Pleasant Hill / Sattelite Blvd (Close to Microcenter) -- Good BUN, Spring Rolls (Goi Coun), and Drip Coffee (Cafe Sua Da). Have yet to try the Pho there, but the spicy beef looks like my next try there. Saigon Cafe (one off of Pleasant Hill, one in Woodstock (92 and Trickum)) -- good, but getting more "pedestrian". Has good Pan-Asian dishes in case you want to sample a few interesting things outside of the normal Vietnameese fare. Dai Loi (one off of Buford Hwy, north of clairmont and one off of 54 in Jonesboro) -- good, love the atmosphere. If anyone needs a guide to escort them to try one of these out, let me know!
