Future General Meetings
Unless otherwise announced, AMUG holds General Meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Meeting location is now at Macquarium at 1800 Peachtree Street.
The meetings are open to both members and visitors, and begin at 7 pm. Meetings generally conclude around 9 pm.
Admission is free for members and visitors. Members receive a free raffle ticket for valuable door prizes (two raffle tickets if you wear an AMUG t-shirt, 3 if you wear an AMUG polo shirt).
Most of our General Meetings include a demo of a major software program, user demos, and the popular open forum - an open question and answer session.
* At 7 pm, we begin the meeting with the open forum. If youve got a question about hardware, software, or anything else computer related weve probably got someone in the audience that can help.
* At 7:15 pm, the presenter takes the stage.
* At 8 pm, we take a stretch break, make announcements about upcoming events, and handle other AMUG business matters.
* At 8:15 pm our presenter continues, or our second presenter of the evening begins.
* At 9 pm, we conclude the evening with a drawing for door prizes.
